Obituary for Dana Alan Wease
Dana Alan Wease, 59, of Five Forks, WV died at his home Sunday, April 21, 2019 following a long battle with a terminal illness.
Dana was born July 12, 1959 in Clarksburg, WV, a son of Rev. Donzel Wease and the late Emma Gainer Wease.
He was a resident of Calhoun County most of his adult life. He was the owner of DW & Sons Construction and was a well-known general contractor.
In addition to his father, he is survived by companion, Doris Gray; sons, Zachary Wease, Seth Wease, Dana Alan Wease II; step-son, Joe Marklow; step-daughters, Donna Rings, Jennifer Stegner, Doris Dingy, and Robin Gray; brothers, Donnie Wease and Dennis Wease; and sister, Ruth Cook.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by sister, Jane Wease and step-son, Daniel Gray.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A fellowship gathering will immediately follow the service at 312 Road Fork Rd., Five Forks, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help cover expenses associated with Dana’s illness and death.
