Frank Joseph Masiarczyk Jr., age 71, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at his home in Grantsville, WV.

Frank was born September 11, 1947 to Frank Masiarczyk and Ida Jane Stockton in Detroit, Michigan.

Frank was a Vietnam Veteran. He served in the US Army as sergeant from 1966-1968. During his time in the Vietnam War, Frank’s commanding officers discovered his talent for competitive boxing. He was placed in Special Services. Frank left the war wounded from battle, but came home with several medals, trophies, and a love for our country and our freedom.

Frank was a provider for his family and known for his ambitious nature. As an entrepreneur, he successfully owned and operated multiple night clubs and restaurants - bringing well over seven million dollars in revenue to the state of West Virginia.

Beyond his charisma and the sound of his Harley Davidson as he rode through town, Frank is best known for his generosity. Over the years, donating to the Sheriff’s department so our local men and women in uniform could have bulletproof vests. When the old high school needed new bleachers and a press box for the Calhoun Red Devils football team, Frank donated the materials. He also provided employment and housing for countless residents of Grantsville from 1991 to now.

Frank is survived by his daughters, Bliss Masiarczyk, Audra Edwards, and Davina Crimmins; sons, Franko and Christopher Masiarczyk; grandchildren, Brandon Masiarczyk, Grace and Gabrielle Edwards; brother, John Masiarczyk; and sister, Donna Beurer.
